Bradford City AFC to publish live matchday carbon data in three-year partnership with Dashe
Supporters will see the club’s carbon footprint in real time as the award-winning Greener Bantams strategy enters its next phase.

Bradford City AFC has today announced a three-year partnership with Dashe, a real-time carbon data platform. The agreement will put live emissions data at the heart of how the club runs and, for the first time, in front of supporters.
From the 2026/27 season, Dashe will capture emissions across energy, waste, travel, supply chain and matchday activity at Mbanq Valley Parade. For supporters, the headline feature is a live matchday carbon figure, published on the club’s website. As far as the club and Dashe are aware, no other club in English professional football publishes one. Further fan and community initiatives will follow later in the season.
Football clubs typically report emissions annually, in figures estimated from spend rather than measured. Bradford City will now measure its impact as it happens, and show supporters the numbers.
This builds on several years of graft. Under the Greener Bantams strategy, solar panels now top the stands at Mbanq Valley Parade, old kit finds new homes via the club’s Kit Assist initiative, and since the 2025/26 season every goal scored by the men’s and women’s first teams has planted a tree as part of the club’s nature commitments. In May 2026, Bradford City Community Foundation launched the Greener Bantams Travel Hub with support from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority. The EFL has taken notice: a Silver award in its Green Clubs scheme in July 2025, then the EFL Environmental Award itself in April 2026.
“We’ve worked hard over the past few years to build something credible at this football club. Pushing further means being honest about the numbers, and showing our supporters and partners exactly what’s happening rather than hoping nobody asks. That’s why we picked Dashe. They’re not here to tell us the story we’d like to hear about ourselves. They’re here to give us the actual data.”
Adam Keizer, Head of Commercial and Sustainability, Bradford City AFC
Behind the scenes, Dashe plugs into the systems the club already runs. It measures emissions from real activity rather than spend-based estimates, and turns them into figures the club can audit and publish. The platform already serves clients across specialist haulage, construction and compliance services, and now comes to professional sport.
“Bradford City have done the work. They’re not a club that needs to be told what sustainability looks like. What they want now is honest numbers, in real time, that they can put their name to. Our job is to make the matchday carbon figure as reliable as the attendance figure.”
Andrew Woodward, Managing Director, Dashe
When the live figure launches, supporters at Mbanq Valley Parade will have two numbers to follow on a matchday: the score, and the club’s carbon footprint.
